Join us for some seriously spooky half term fun this October! Take part in one (or all!) of our activities:
- Tuesday 29th October - Slime Making Workshop, 11am - 4pm: Say hello to our mad scientist and create your own spooky slime creation!
- Wednesday 30th October - Halloween Face Painting, 11am - 2pm: Let our talented artist transform you into a terrifying monster or a magical creature!
- Thursday 31st October - Potion Making Workshop, 11am - 3pm: Magic up mystical fogging, bubbling potions in mini cauldrons using dry ice and other spooky ingredients!
All of our events are free, but if you would like to show your appreciation we will be collecting donations for our Charity partners - Families in Grief, The Tony Hudgell Foundation and FearFree.
NEW FOR 2024 - Get creative this Halloween with our Family Pumpkin Carving Contest!
We're inviting families to unleash their creativity this Halloween with a fun-filled pumpkin carving contest. In addition, we will be creating a display in our amphitheatre with all the pumpkins!
Carve at Home or at the Centre
Participants can carve their pumpkins from the comfort of their own homes and drop them off at the Tourist Information Centre by Wednesday, October 30th. Alternatively, families can visit the centre on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th October for a pop-up carving craft station. Pumpkins and carving kits will be available for purchase during these days, making it a convenient and mess-free experience.
Prizes and Display
All pumpkins will be judged, and one lucky entrant will receive a £50 gift card to spend at Affinity Devon. Additionally, their school will receive a £250 prize! The carved pumpkins will be displayed in the Amphitheatre until Sunday, November 3rd, providing a picturesque backdrop for memorable family photos.
Terms and Conditions
Pumpkins will be available for purchase while supplies last, and one pumpkin entry is allowed per child.
